"Justice"

The word "justice" is a word that we use to refer to an unbiased system of punishing those who have committed crimes that the general population considers bad for society as a whole. However, justice can also mean simply that people get what they deserve, and has nothing to do with any kind of system at all. Perhaps karma in itself is enough justice, even though it does not always happen as it should.

That's where we add our justice system, to try and pick it up where karma had left off. However, for justice to truly exist, it must be unbiased, which is entirely impossible. Even saying that something someone did is wrong is a form of bias in itself, making justice some sort of twisted paradox.

Justice is arguably bad as well, considering how many are innocent and punished for it, as well as those who commit terrible crimes. However, who is to say that those people are innocent and those guilty are not? Perhaps justice itself could use some of its own justice. But then again, that doesn't make much sense.
